Playing with more presents...

Checking out the new bath caterpillar.
Loving my new pull toy from Auntie Erin (and the ribbon too)!
Bijan loves his books and he got two cool new ones from his Auntie Cynthia and Cousins Olivia, Sophia and Emma.

Finally cake!

Bijan loved his banana birthday cupcake!

Sharing with Mommy (notice the foot on the table).
All done!

More First Birthday...

My Birthday hat at playgroup.

Trying to catch more bubbles... As you can see Bijan is not one to sit down during circle time.
Teacher Jan reading a story (Bijan still not sitting).

My First Birthday...

I started my Birthday playing in bed with Mommy and Daddy.
Having fun in the tunnel at my "My Gym" class.
Swinging across the room...Weeeeeee! There is a cable with a pulley attached and Bijan soars from one end of the room to the other and he loves it, as you can see by his face.
Mowing the lawn and trying to catch bubbles.
Smashing the parachute bubbles. Bijan loves the parachute- when they put it away he now goes and finds it and tries to get it out.

Bijan being Bijan in Wiesbaden...

No explanation necessary and yes, that is drool all over the front of his neck and chest- Bijan got two more teeth while in Germany!

Bijan loves to do chores (let's hope that sticks)... here he is taking out the trash.

Bijan eating in Germany...

Drinking watermelon juice on the balcony.
Bijan devouring his "Ja!" yoghurt- Ja! is a German brand (cheap) that makes everything from yogurt and water to TP, we had a lot of Ja! products. We thought this was a good advertisement for their yoghurt. Ja means yeah/yes/okay.

Wiesbaden Zoo

You can't see them in this picture but there were a couple of bears and a coyote in the brush behind us.

Rhine River

Path along the river.
Having fun along the Rhine...
Palace that sits across from the Rhine with some amazing architecture.

Neroberg

The trolley up to Neroberg (the highest mountain in wiesbaden).
The view...
The family...
Baba Bozorg (Bijan's Grandfather) climbing the lion! Akbar and Shahram trying to convince him to come down.
The trolley down, Akbar and Bijan outside in the front of the trolley where the driver stands.

Chasing German Pigeons

Considering pigeons and next move...
In pursuit...
pursuit goes on...
and on...
Discussing strategy with locals.

Downtown Wiesbaden

Downtown shopping ...
We happened upon this shoe store which shared Bijan's name- Bijan was only interested in the pizza we bought from the street vendor. He would not be sitting so nicely in his stroller if he weren't eating!

More downtown...

In the Neighborhood...

Beautiful church near our apartment.
The park near our house. Bijan discovered sand toys.
Very large park that began near the Baunhoff (train station) which you can see in the background. This park reminded me of the panhandle in SF, situated between two busy streets and frequented by interesting people.
Interpretive dance?
