Composing

Bijan has taken to making up songs with his guitar. Unfortunately when we pull out the camera he immediately stops and wants to see the video- so we only catch small bits on film. The longer versions are hillarious. This song is "All about animals," an original Bijan song and then he moves into "me, me, me..." which is a song from our music class.

Wacky Song!

In this song Bijan has taken on an interesting singing voice and is wearing one of his favorite accessories- the headband. The lyrics are "flowers are pretty" then he does some sniffing sound effects and "flowers are smelly," more sniffing and then I think he says "Mommy is smelly" but that is hard to believe. And finally he finishes singing about the rain...Too funny.

Hiking and Exploring

Now that Bijan is getting older we are able to take him on some of our favorite hikes and he gets to do some of his favorite things...

Rain in SoCal!

Rain is a rarity here in SoCal and most people think this is wonderful- but Bijan and I love the rain and get out in it as soon as we can! Here is Bijan enjoying the puddles in our driveway.

In the beginning there was proper use of the protective gear- but he soon realized his umbrella was holding him back...

Snow in SoCal!

They brought snow to Bijan's school (Mommy and me program)for a fun day of play and sledding. It was strange because it was 80 degrees out but Bijan loved sledding down the big hill. This was suppose to be a picture but my friend had the camera on video unknowingly and I can't figure out how to rotate this clip but you can at least see the hill we came down over and over...
